Connected Social Accounts and Publishing
Last updated: 15 July 2026Current status
YouTube private publishing is available when configured. You can connect a YouTube channel, review a finished Short, and approve private YouTube uploads from Slidiz. TikTok and Instagram remain export-and-manual-post workflows.
Availability depends on the YouTube integration being enabled for the Slidiz environment. Connecting a channel does not upload anything by itself: every upload requires your review and express approval.
What is available now
| Platform | Current Slidiz feature | Account connection or publishing |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok | Export-ready slideshow files | Export and manual posting only |
| Export-ready carousel files | Export and manual posting only | |
| YouTube | Export-ready YouTube Shorts MP4 | Connect a channel and upload privately when enabled |
How YouTube publishing works
- You choose to connect a YouTube channel through Google's authorization screen.
- The authorization screen will identify the account, data, and permission categories requested.
- Slidiz will explain why each permission is needed and request only access required for the available feature.
- You will review the content, caption, metadata, destination account, and visibility settings before any send or publish action.
- Slidiz will require your express approval for the action. Connecting an account will not itself publish content.
- You can disconnect YouTube and request deletion of platform-related data stored by Slidiz.
You retain control of your external account. Slidiz does not own your YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram account and does not promise that a platform will accept, display, keep, or distribute content.
Permissions and data
For YouTube, Slidiz requests the permissions shown by Google to identify the authorized channel and perform the private upload you approve. YouTube access tokens are used transiently; Slidiz stores the encrypted refresh token for that connection. The Privacy Policyexplains the data and purpose. TikTok and Instagram do not request account permissions.
YouTube
Slidiz explains the authorized YouTube data received and uses it only for channel connection and private uploads you request. It does not use YouTube-authorized data for undisclosed secondary purposes and will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy and applicable Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect YouTube in Slidiz Connections and revoke access through Google's third-party access settings. Revoking access will not delete videos already held by YouTube. Use YouTube or YouTube Studio for content stored on YouTube. See YouTube's Terms of Service.
TikTok
When Slidiz offers TikTok for Developers functionality, it will identify the TikTok account information and permission categories requested, explain why each is needed, and state whether the feature transfers a file for completion in TikTok or uses a direct posting flow. The exact flow is not selected or available in the current product.
Where the feature supports it, you will be able to edit captions and relevant metadata before publishing. You will expressly approve sending or publishing, see what is being posted, and retain control of the destination account. TikTok may process, moderate, delay, restrict, or remove content before it is visible, and controls final visibility and availability. Slidiz will not claim that Direct Post has passed an audit without documentary evidence.
You will be able to disconnect the account through Slidiz when that control exists and request deletion of stored TikTok-related data. Disconnecting Slidiz will not automatically delete content already stored by TikTok. See TikTok's Terms of Service and Content Posting API guidelines.
Meta and Instagram
When Slidiz offers Meta or Instagram Platform functionality, it will identify the information accessed, permission categories requested, purpose for each permission, and any service-provider sharing. Publishing may be limited to eligible Instagram account types under the then-current Instagram Platform documentation; Slidiz will not describe an account type as supported until that requirement is confirmed.
You will retain control of the account and review the content and destination before any publish action. Meta and Instagram control processing, moderation, visibility, and availability. Disconnecting Slidiz will not automatically delete content already published on Instagram. Use Instagram or the relevant Meta product to manage that content. See the Meta Platform Terms and Instagram content-publishing documentation.
Disconnecting and deleting platform data
Disconnect YouTube from Slidiz Connections or revoke it in Google's account settings. Disconnecting removes Slidiz's stored encrypted refresh token and prevents new uploads; it does not delete videos already held by YouTube. To request deletion of platform-related data stored by Slidiz, use the Data Deletion page or email getslidiz@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
Deleting Slidiz data affects Slidiz's copy only. It does not delete content held by YouTube, TikTok, Meta, Instagram, or your device.
